So here we go… the first devices emerging among a plethora that will change the way we think about Mobility. 4G tears down preconceived notions of “cell phone” mobility delineations, unleashing powerful mobile broadband connectivity and context capabilities that enrich every product and service. Some of the first products are ultra-mobile PCs—neither PCs, nor cell phones, nor PDAs, these connected and contextually-aware hybrids inspire alternative thinking and arrive from alternative thinkers. Perhaps it’s time to discontinue associating LBS to the “cell phone industry”, or compare other analyst-designed compartmentalized industry creations to it—that might be growth-prohibitive.
